Once known only as the pound symbol on a phone or the symbolic representation of number, now holds a place of prominence on most major social platforms. From social media novices to the experts designing the latest and greatest, users recognize the symbol as a method of categorizing and discovering posts and conversations. However, despite it’s spread across platforms, all hashtag uses are not created equal. Hashtags deliver different results depending on the platform used. With this in mind, it is important to understand how each platform views hashtags and how to optimize your use of them to enhance your content.

In today's business world, if you are not on the Internet then you don’t exist. The number of users on the Internet has increased exponentially since the new millennium -- especially users of social media. With billions of active users on social media, organizations have had to tailor their competitive strategies in order to sustain viability in today’s economy. Some organizations have been more successful with their online presence then others in terms of maintaining consistency and relevancy. This means that Social Media challenges are apparent and many organizations today must re-strategize and refocus their efforts to ensure success in today’s global economy.

Before I knew anything about call-to-action (CTA) or landing pages, I knew about wanting to give companies information about me in order to get more information about them.  In planning a quarter-life cross-country move from Michigan to Texas, I wanted to get all the information I could about education opportunities in my future home.  I even went so far as to fill out a few forms for schools, giving them my true full name, phone number, and email address - all of which were *required.
