What is the Email Report?

The Email report should be monitored to see how the email is being viewed by the intented audience.

Terminology

The Email report collects and reports on the following items:

  1. Selected: The total number of contacts on the recipient lists minus blocked recipients
  2. Sent: The number of contacts that were selected to be sent the email minus ineligible (Hard Bounced or Unsubscribed) contacts
  3. Delivered: The total number of email addresses reported as delivered. This is generally Sent minus Hard Bounce and Soft Bounce 
  4. Opened: The number of emails that were opened and had “display images” enabled
  5. Clicked: The number of recipients who clicked on any link in the email
  6. Ineligible: Contacts that were excluded prior to sending because they've previously unsubscribed, marked your email as spam, or hard bounced. 
  7. Hard Bounce: A hard bounce means that the address is invalid and should not be sent to again
  8. Soft Bounce: A soft bounce means that the email temporarily failed to reach its intended recipient 
  9. Unsubscribed: The number of contacts who opted out from a particular email
