What are Campaigns?

Campaigns are a concentrated effort to align all channels around a single offer and goal. The campaign overview page provides a summary of how the campaign is performing by rolling up the metrics from individual pieces of content into aggregate metrics. This video provides a quick overview of the uses of this tool.

What Insights / Recommendations Can You Provide?

With the Campaign tool, you can ask ...

  1. What are the School of Business Administration (SBA) Goals?
  2. What business group or industry is SBA targeting with their marketing?
  3. What personas has SBA created to ensure their marketing efforts are successful?
  4. What are the various marketing assets that SBA is/can deploy to increase enrollment?

With the Campaign tool, you can ...

  1. ... look at the aggregate metrics for the Calls-To-Actions (CTA) associated with the campaign
    • View CTA clicks to determine whether the CTA design and offers were appealing
  2. ... analyze email performance to determine a good ratio of emails opened to emails sent
    • if a good ratio, the subject lines were successful
    • if not a good ration, then the content of the emails did not resonate with recipients or the right links were not included
  3. ... examine which social media channel led to the most click-throughs to the other content
    • see which social media channel was most effective
    • (keep track of these metrics across all campaigns to influence overall social production strategy)
  4. ... check the number of keywords that are associated with the campaign
    • observe the amount of traffic, contacts, and customers that those keywords are responsible
